Because Temecula doesn’t see as many Hindu weddings as we would like, we want to change that. I have worked on a few fusion weddings and have a 2-day Catholic and Hindu wedding coming up in August in the area. So yes, I do plan Indian weddings – and would love to continue to do more. Once Callaway Winery approached me to put this shoot together, I knew that this fun collaboration was just the beginning. They would love to host more Hindu weddings as well.
The floral designer and I wanted to do something more moody, elegant and contemporary – in shades of purple and smoky gray with lush florals as the focus. We wanted to speak to more of a non-traditional couple or a mixed culture wedding who might be looking for a wedding truly unique to they are. These weddings may not include some of the traditional colors and elements that are typically seen to show that the design possibilities can be endless in any culture.
