Cara was absolutely amazing!! I started planning my wedding just over 18 months from the big day, so I had a lot of time to think about all the details. I always had questions for her and wondered if we were meeting enough. Cara was on top of everything and always assured me that we were good. She really put my mind at ease and I was not disappointed. She was always quick to respond to my emails and she went out of her way to make my day perfect. She recommended the best vendors and together, I had “the dream team.” My wedding was amazing and I couldn’t have done it without Cara. Michelle planned our San Diego wedding from start to finish. It was absolutely beautiful and everything went smoothly day of. She was always quick to respond, creative whenever we ran into some issue, and understanding of our budget. She was totally sweet and understood my vision of what I wanted my wedding to look like. Let me just preface by saying that my wedding venue (Callaway Vineyards in Temecula) prides itself in offering two venue coordinators as part of their wedding package. So, knowing that, my husband and I initially thought that it would be a waste of money to hire an event designer/wedding coordinator. As the planning progressed, we found that the term “venue coordinator” and “wedding coordinator” tends to be used interchangeably, when it’s not the same thing. The Venue Coordinator will help assist you with all things venue-specific, but they’re role doesn’t include helping you with design thought leadership, timeline development, contacting all vendors, etc. Anyway, my point is that I realized TWO months before the wedding that I had to literally do everything myself....that is, until we hired Michelle and Samantha!! I’m so glad that we did! Michelle worked with us for our event design & I am pleased with how everything turned out. Michelle provides thought leadership in her design recommendations & she will flat out tell you if something would look tacky or out of whack for your theme. So, just know that you are getting professional insights and the results definitely show. In the end, we had so many compliments from our guests as to how tasteful and beautiful our wedding looked! “Magazine-worthy”, as some said. She is also responsive and was great at working with our venue to ensure that details were ironed out. Samantha was our day-of-coordinator and she was always there for us and our guests when anyone had any questions. She truly made everyone feel taken care of and comfortable. Also, Samantha ensured that I always had the wine I wanted at my table (with everything going on, a lot of brides don’t even get to eat or drink at their own wedding – so I really appreciated how she looked out for me so that I could enjoy my own wedding). Long story short: I’m a fan and will highly recommend. Enough said!
Cara Goset was beyond what words could explain. My wedding day was way more than I could have ever hoped thanks to Cara. Everything was so well organized and set up so beautifully which as a bride that’s exactly what I was looking for. She was a huge help with finding awesome vendors...which definitely make or beak your wedding day. I had not any worries on the big day she had helped so much with rehearsal , and everything and anything I needed along the way. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone! Our wedding day would of never been even half of what it was if it wasn’t for Michelle! Michelle understood my vision instantly & even added to it and created the most beautiful wedding. She made us feel so at ease during the whole process even for us being in Australia, communication was never an issue because she made sure we were up to date or always replied promptly. Michelle is very professional, passionate and honest and with that combination she managed to create something that won’t be forgotten not just with us but even our guest in years to come. I don’t mean to offend anyone...but you’re a FOOL if you don’t hire Michelle Garibay for your wedding. She is absolutely AMAZING. From the moment I emailed her for the first time until after my wedding, she was super responsive and extremely helpful with all my questions. I hired her as my day of coordinator but she started 60 days before and was available even before that. I almost wish I would have hired her for my full wedding planner. Words can’t describle how happy I am that we decided to use her services...worth every penny and then some. My wedding went without a hitch, even if there were any issues I had no idea because Michelle handled everything so professionally. My husband and I are both so happy with how smoothly our wedding went under Michelle’s eye. Needless to say, I highly, HIGHLY recommend Michelle Garibay Events! Michelle is so incredibly organized, I honestly don’t know how she does it! Our wedding was everything and more than we could have imagined. Michelle worked hard from the moment we had our initial consultation and was very prompt with communication which is what sealed the deal for us. I spent about a month researching wedding planners and I just wasn’t getting timely responses from local wedding planners on Oahu. Being from the east coast, prompt communication was essential for us. Michelle is based out of CA but is very knowledgeable about and has great relationships with the vendors in Hawaii. Every vendor she recommended for our wedding did a remarkable job and I was so glad the night went on without any problems that we were aware of. We were able to enjoy the night without having to worry about anything. That in itself is worth it! She was very realistic and upfront about what we could do with our budget. We appreciate that she respected our budget and still was able to create our vision. She has a keen eye for details and her ideas came to life and turned out beautifully. We were very impressed with her professionalism and her hard-working mentality. She really knows exactly what she is doing and words cannot express how grateful we are to have had the opportunity to work with her. I would absolutely recommend Michelle and her event planning services. She made the wedding planning process less stressful and actually enjoyable and fun!
